Argentina vs Saudi Arabia world cup 2022: Saudi Arabia stuns Argentina with a comeback victory

The first match of the world cup 2022 group B has just finished with Saudi Arabia recording a surprise 2-1 victory over Argentina.

Argentina led 1-0 into the first half courtesy of a Lionel Messi penalty after paredes was tripped in the penalty area. The score should have been more as Argentina had three goals disallowed by Var for offside.

Just early in the second half, Saudi Arabia scored two quick fire goal to turn the game around. They held on for the rest of the game to claim this famous victory.

Stats

Argentina saw much of the ball, 78 possession. They also had more shots on goal 8. Saudi Arabia only had two shorts on goal and those two were goals. There were six yellow cards shown in the game and all goes to the Green Falcons.

Breaking news: Manchester utd terminates Ronaldo's contract with immediate effect following his interview with piers morgan

 The breaking new coming out from Manchester Utd now is, Ronaldo's contract has been riped apart with immediate effect.

This news comes out roughly  fours days after piers Morgan released a video of his interview with Ronaldo. Ronaldo In the video made some bold revelation and other comments that won't go down well with the United Chiefs. 

Parts of his revelation reads; ' when you sack solkjaer you bring in a top coach not a sporting director'. This statement is a subtle dig at Ralf Ragnick, who was appointed as an interim coach after the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solkjaer. 

He even said he loved Solkjaer but never saw Ragnick as the coach. He even spoke against his former teammate Wayne Rooney considering his abysmal shape at just age 38.

He did it stop there, he went on to criticize how the young players of today don't work hard enough and don't have a strong mentality. Though when asked about young players with a strong mentality and a good future ahead of them, he mentioned his compatriot Dalot and Casemiro his former teammate.

You might be thinking this is all, but no he went on to criticize how the Chiefs are poorly handling the club. He said when he was coming back to United he taught he will see new infrastructure but no that was not the case. The infrastructure remain the same way they where when he had his first stint with the club. He doesn't like the directors inability to invest in the club.

These statements and revelations from him appear to sting the directors hence the termination of his contract. Per The Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo himself was happy to leave the club. He said both parties wanted the contract terminated before Portugal's  world cup match against Ghana on Thursday.

Introduction

I have launched my blog, so I think it's important to explain the content visitors will see.

To start with, I will be posting poetry and articles on football. And since I want visitors of my blog to be happy, I will try and be posting regularly.

I will like to say my poems are of high quality. As a perfectionist, everything I do, I want it to be of a high standard. So, I invest so much of my time and energy to produce these quality poems. The classroom is one of them. I will be posting on poetry intermittently.

But, I will be posting regularly On football, as I don't want my readers to be bored as I prepare to post new poems. As a Chelsea fan, I will tell you to expect more on Chelsea. But I will be posting on all teams.

The classroom

Welcome to my blog where I post poetry and football news. Today I have a poem I want to share with you. It's titled the classroom. This poem is in five stanzas with varying lines and it's divided into two parts;

The first part shows the classroom as a bond that binds two different group of student together: the students with ego and ones with no ego.

The second part shows how these two group of students behave after completion.

I know you are hungry to read this saucy and educative poem, so I will show you now.

The classroom is

a bond, that binds

Students with ego

and ones with no ego

together: These sky-high egos

Don't drop,

and when the bond breaks,

The heads, with no ego  

Try to merge it;

They do stoop too low,

and try to wrap their arms

Around the neck 

of the other students,

But the garments,

Their hands don't even touch.

The heads with the inflated

Ego stick to each other.

They all put their

prides firmly on their

stylish hairs.

Behind each too heavy 

pride is a folded cloth.

They march through cities

And towns with all these 

burdens, in pairs;

The two legs slowly 

cross each other in style,

While their arms are interwoven.

when you wink at them,

they won't wink back,

when you wave a hand,

they won't wave back,

when you call them, they 

Reply, 'do I know you?'

When you explain, they say 

'oh! I've forgotten you'.

Because they are lost 

in the fog of Fame,

The cobweb of pride,

And on the shore of success;

Should we match them

A foot by a foot

Into the hall of shame?

Take note, until you catch 

your stars, they won't know you.
